My journey into the world of being an Optician has been ongoing leaning for 13 years. All started working in mostly medical office, while getting sucked into the charts I was scanning. Fast Forward a few years was tossed into the sink or swim of Private practice where I found the JOY of helping people and slightly needing out on optics and the different options. Finding a passion in finding the Right frame, the Style, Fashion add in the difference of mass market vs. independent Eyewear makers. Finding or choosing amazing styles and colors while buying frames for the office Seeing wonders or hidden gems you might run into. That Perfect pair for the person looking while choosing the best options so someone can SEE all while being an expression of oneself. Helping someone take that hesitant 1st step to a journey in eyewear! Showing a young person how to put contact lenses in for the 1st time and overcoming the challenges. Knowing that in some small part you helped someone in some small way is why I still to this day find working as an Optician something to be proud of.
